Rayford Crossing is a luxury resort just minutes away from the bright lights of Houston but far enough to enjoy the great outdoors and see the stars at night shining big and bright in Texas. After parking your RV at one of over 100 lots, head out to some of the best shopping in the country at the Woodlands. This shopping center is unlike any other with a mix of premium brands, boutiques, home furnishing and fine dining. You’re sure to spend all day treating yourself to a few of your favorite things.

After a day of shopping and dining, kick your feet up at the resort style pool or covered hot tub. Be sure to bring your fishing poles as well because one of the true gems of Rayford Crossing is our onsite stocked fishing pond.

For a longer stay, swing by the Mercer Botanic Gardens, just 10 miles from the resort. The gardens span over 400 acres of beautifully maintained grounds and walking trails and are a great way to explore some of the best nature has to offer.

Grab lunch on your way back at the The Black Sheep Bistro, a local favorite with five-star dining inside an old converted house.

Whether you’re vacationing with your significant other for a fancy getaway, or searching for a fun place to meet up with friends, consider a nightcap at Prohibition Texas. Prohibition offers an extensive wine, cocktail and cigar bar with happy hours every Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

The campsite may have a small town feel but we are just minutes away from the big city lights of Houston. If you’re planning a longer stay at Rayford Crossing (which we highly recommend!) you’ll definitely want to take a trip to see all that Houston has to offer. Some of our favorites include the Houston Museum of Natural Science, Houston Space Center and the Museum of Fine Arts. Sports fans can also catch an Astros or Texans game depending on the season.

Staying with us at Rayford Crossing offers a wide variety of amenities to make your stay with us as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. RV sites at the resort come with a patio and picnic tables, and premium lots with a BBQ grill and fire pits are also available.
