Located in the pine woods of Willis, Texas, The Woodlands Children’s Museum provides fun times for RV families traveling with small children. Just a short drive from the Majestic Pines RV Resort, you’ll find this family friendly attraction is the perfect way to spend an afternoon.
THE WOODLANDS CHILDREN’S MUSEUM
The Woodlands Children’s Museum offers lots of hands-on interactive exhibits, for young learners to explore the world with more than their eyes. At The Woodlands Children’s Museum, their mission is to create more opportunities to excite children to want to learn more about how things work, through play!
A Few of Their Exhibits at The Museum
The “Little Ocean Wonders” exhibit is their largest gallery in the museum. It is specifically designed for a younger audience under the age of 2 years old. The exhibit has “mini buildings”so your children can practice their new movement skills, such as climbing, crawling, and exploring the soft ocean-themed display. There’s also a reading nook where fun stories can be shared between your family.
The Market and Playcraft display encourages your little ones to practice important life skills through their imagination! This display has a wide assortment of realistic play food in a marketplace-like setting, where children work together and prepare meals for their customers while making new friends along the way.
At Woodlands Children’s Museum, they focus on the aspects of play, teaching children to discover new things with their hands rather than just their eyes. This way of learning will help encourage children to be more creative through their learning process, and can help them develop abilities such as physical, cognitive, and emotional strength!
Ticket information and prices:
- Admission timed session tickets are $8.00 for adults and children 1 year and older.
- Tickets are non-refundable but are transferable to a NON-EVENT date!
- Discounts for EBT and active military customers are only available to purchase at the museum in person with the required documentation.
